Taraweeh Prayer | Ramadan | Masjid

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu

In shaa Allah we will be holding the Isha and Taraweeh prayers outdoors at MFIC parking lot starting at 9:15 PM (as of 4/23/2021).

Please bring a thick prayer rug with you, as there will be no tarp. For parking, please use the west parking lot (across the street from the masjid), the streets around the masjid, and the nearby church parking lot (northeast corner of Barton Ave and Sierra Madre Ave). Due to the ongoing situation, the prayers will be shorter than typical.

ALL THE FOLLOWING RULES HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED PRECISELY WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Any person with any health conditions should not come to the prayer.
Face masks must be worn at all time.
Children 13 and under should not attend.
There is no space for the sisters at this time. However, they are welcome to come to the Masjid during other prayers.
Please make wudu at home. Nonetheless, the masjid's bathrooms and wudu facility will be available, if needed.
Use hand sanitizer upon entering the parking lot.
Always wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
Group socialization is not allowed.
Handshaking and hugging are not allowed.
You must maintain 6 feet distance between you and the other person all the time including the prayer time.
Follow the orange markings in the parking lot for seating and praying.
Items should not be passed around between worshippers.
You do not have to take your shoes off since we are praying outside the masjid.

Other daily congregational prayers are being held inside the masjid in compliance with the guidelines of the Health Department. As a reminder to our brothers and sisters with the recitation of the Qur’an and to encourage them to read the Qur’an during this holy month, the Imam will post a recitation of one Juz’ from the Qur’an everyday with his voice on his YouTube Channel. A short speech (khatirah) by the Imam will also be posted daily on his YouTube channel on different subjects. You will receive notifications with the recitation and speeches via email, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
